The earliest traces of writing in India date back to the Indus Valley Civilization, seen in seals and sealings. Although the Indus script remains undeciphered, India’s script history evolved significantly during the Early Historic period with the emergence of Brahmi and Kharoshthi scripts.
While Kharoshthi faded by the 3rd century CE, Brahmi flourished and evolved into several regional scripts. This 7-day intensive workshop focuses on Brahmi and its later derivatives, offering both theoretical and hands-on training.
